(exechange) — Jacksonville, Florida, January 5, 2022 — Randy Quirk, chief executive of Fidelity National, leaves his position. As announced by Fidelity National Financial Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, Raymond R. (Randy) Quirk leaves his post as chief executive officer at the provider of title insurance and settlement services to the real estate and mortgage industries, after about eight years in the role, effective February 1, 2022.

Randy Quirk’s duties as CEO will be taken over by Michael J. (Mike) Nolan, currently President at Fidelity National Financial Inc.

No reason given

In the announcement, Fidelity National did not explicitly explain the reason for the move.

Quirk will remain as Executive Vice-Chairman at Fidelity National

“Mike Nolan, the Company’s current President, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of FNF. Concurrently, Randy Quirk, the Company’s current Chief Executive Officer, will assume the position of Executive Vice-Chairman on the Company’s Board of Directors. Both executive leadership changes will be effective as of February 1, 2022,” Fidelity National said.

Fidelity National said: “On January 5, 2022, the Board of Directors of Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (the “Company”) adopted a resolution to appoint Mike Nolan, the Company’s current President, to the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Concurrently, the resolution appoints Randy Quirk, the Company’s current Chief Executive Officer, to the position of Executive Vice-Chairman on the Company’s Board of Directors. Both executive leadership changes will be effective as of February 1, 2022.”

Share price increase since January 2017

The announcement follows an increase in Fidelity National Financial Inc.’s share price of 113% since January 2017.

In the position of CEO since 2013

Randy Quirk became CEO of the Company in 2013.

In his new role as Executive Vice-Chairman, Randy Quirk will continue to promote FNF’s real estate technology efforts that are focused on the development of new technologies, the expansion of FNF’s digital initiatives, and investments in title insurance and technology related M&A activities.

Quirk has served as Chief Executive Officer of FNF since December 2013 and as a director of FNF since February 2017.

Previously, he had served as the President of FNF since April 2008.

Quirk served as Co-President since May 2007 and as Co-Chief Operating Officer of FNF from October 2006 until May 2007.

Since joining FNF in 1985, Quirk has served in numerous executive and management positions, including Executive Vice President, Division Manager and Regional Manager, with responsibilities for managing direct and agency operations nationally.

Quirk also serves on the board of directors of J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc.
