As announced by Match Group Inc. in a news release on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, Amanda (Mandy) Ginsberg leaves her post as chief executive officer at the provider of dating products after about two years in the role, effective March 1, 2020.
Among the 3,000 largest publicly held companies incorporated in the U.S. based on market capitalization, the average tenure of the CEOs who announced their departure over the past 12 months was 7.5 years, according to data compiled by exechange. Mandy Ginsberg’s duties as CEO will be taken over by Sharmistha (Shar) Dubey, currently President of Match Group Inc.
Mandy Ginsberg’s move is part of a management shake-up also involving the positions of Chief Operating Officer; Chief Strategy Officer; and Chief Communications Officer.

Ms. Ginsberg will be handing the reigns [sic!] to her longtime deputy, Shar Dubey, who currently serves as the President of Match Group. Ms. Dubey will assume her role effective March 1.”
