As announced by Rigetti Computing Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Monday, October 31, 2022, Chad Rigetti leaves his post as chief executive officer at the specialist in hybrid quantum-classical computing, after nine years in the role, effective when a successor is identified.

Rigetti Computing will undertake a search for a successor.

He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Yale University and a B.S. in Physics with Honors from the University of Regina.
