As announced by Argan Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Thursday, August 18, 2022, Rainer H. Bosselmann has left his post as chief executive officer at the provider of services to the power industry, after almost 19 years in the role, effective August 16, 2022.
It is the end of an era.
Rainer Bosselmann’s duties as CEO will be taken over by David H. Watson, most recently Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary at Argan Inc.
It is a generational change. David Watson is about 33 years younger than Rainer Bosselmann.

In the announcement, Argan did not explicitly explain the reason for the move.
