As announced by Kronos Worldwide Inc. in a regulatory filing published on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Robert D. Graham leaves his post as chief executive officer at the manufacturer of titanium dioxide pigments, after about five and a half years in the role, effective immediately.

Robert Graham’s duties as CEO will be taken over by James M. (Jim) Buch, most recently president and chief operating officer at Kronos Worldwide Inc.

In the announcement, Kronos did not explicitly explain the reason for the move.

“Effective May 18, 2022, the registrant’s board of directors elected James M. Buch as the registrant’s president and chief executive officer. Mr. Buch was formerly the registrant’s president and chief operating officer. Robert D. Graham was formerly the registrant’s chief executive officer, and Mr. Graham continues to serve as the registrant’s vice chairman of the board,” Kronos said.

Share price decline since May 2017

The announcement follows a decline in Kronos Worldwide Inc.’s share price of 8% since May 2017.

He has served as a director of Contran, Valhi and CompX since 2016, and as a director of NL since 2014.

Graham has served with various companies related to the Company and Contran since 2002.
