(exechange) — Irvine, California, March 1, 2022 — Tanya Domier, chief executive of Advantage Solutions, leaves her position. As announced by Advantage Solutions Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Tanya Domier leaves her post as chief executive officer at the provider of outsourced sales and marketing services to consumer goods manufacturers and retailers, after around nine years in the role, effective April 1, 2022.
Tanya Domier’s duties as CEO will be taken over by Jill Griffin, currently President and Chief Commercial Officer at Advantage Solutions Inc.

Tanya Domier’s departure from the CEO post is explained as follows. Domier said: “As I near a decade term as CEO and after multiple years of succession planning with the board, it is time for me to pass the baton to the amazing next generation of leadership at Advantage to write the next chapter in this great company’s story.”
Domier will remain as executive chair at Advantage Solutions
“Tanya Domier will retire as Advantage’s chief executive officer and transition to the role of executive chair effective April 1, 2022,” Advantage Solutions said.

Share price decline since March 2020
The announcement follows a decline in Advantage Solutions Inc.’s share price of 29% since March 2020.
In the position of CEO since 2013
Tanya Domier became CEO of the Company in 2013.
In the executive chair role, Domier will serve on the board of directors and provide input and counsel to the CEO and Advantage leadership on company strategies.
Tanya Domier has served on the board of directors of the Company since the closing of the Transactions.
She has also served on the board of directors of both Advantage and Topco since July 2014.
From December 2010 to July 2014, she also served on the board of directors of AGS Topco Holdings, L.P., the prior owner of Advantage’s business.
Domier has served as Advantage’s Chief Executive Officer since January 2013, after previously serving as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2010 to 2013, and as President of Marketing from 2000 to 2010.
Domier first joined the Company in 1990.
Earlier in her career, Domier held various roles with The J.M. Smucker Company, a food manufacturing company.
On January 1, 2018, Domier joined the board of directors of Yum! Brands Inc.
She has also served on the board of Nordstrom, Inc. since 2015, where she is a member of the audit committee and the chair of the compensation committee.
Domier received her B.A. from California State University, Chico.
