(exechange) — Reston, Virginia, February 28, 2022 — Bill Livek, chief executive of Comscore, leaves his position. As announced by ComScore Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Monday, February 28, 2022, William (Bill) Livek leaves his post as chief executive officer at the media measurement and analytics company, after less than two and a half years in the role, effective after his successor as CEO is named.

Comscore will undertake a search for a successor.

No reason given

In the announcement, Comscore did not explicitly explain the reason for the move.

Livek will remain as non-executive Vice Chairman at Comscore

“[F]ollowing an extraordinary career over four decades in media measurement, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman Bill Livek has announced his intention to retire as CEO and transition to non-executive Vice Chairman after his successor as CEO is named,” Comscore said.

Share price increase since November 2019

The announcement follows an increase in ComScore Inc.’s share price of 3% since November 2019. November 2019 is the month in which Livek’s tenure as CEO began.

In the position of CEO since 2019

Bill Livek became CEO of the Company in 2019.

Livek plans to serve as the non-executive Vice Chairman of Comscore’s Board through the completion of his Board term in mid-2024.

William (Bill) Livek has served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer since November 2019 and as the Company’s Vice Chairman since January 2016.

He was the Company’s President from January 2016 through May 2018.

Livek previously served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rentrak Corporation, a media measurement and consumer targeting company, from June 2009 until the Company’s merger with Rentrak in January 2016.

Prior to Rentrak, Livek was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Symmetrical Capital, an investment and consulting firm; Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliances and International Expansion, of Experian Information Solutions, Inc., a provider of information, analytical and marketing services; and co-President of Experian’s subsidiary Experian Research Services.

He holds a B.S. degree in Communications Radio/Television from Southern Illinois University.
