As announced by Lindblad Expeditions Holdings Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, Sven-Olof Lindblad leaves his post as chief executive officer at the provider of expedition cruises after 42 years in the role, effective May 10, 2021.

It is the end of an era.

Sven Lindblad’s duties as CEO will be taken over by Dolf Berle, currently Chief Executive Officer of Topgolf Entertainment Group.

“Attract additional leadership talent”

Mark Ein, current Board Chair, said: “The Board and Sven have been working for some time to attract additional leadership talent and identify our next leader, and we believe that Dolf is the ideal candidate to serve as Lindblad Expeditions’ new CEO.”

Lindblad will remain as Co-Chair of the Board at Lindblad Expeditions

“Mr. Berle succeeds Sven-Olof Lindblad, who will become Co-Chair of the Board, together with Mark Ein, current Board Chair,” Lindblad Expeditions said.
