As announced by Mettler-Toledo International Inc. in a news release on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Olivier A. Filliol leaves his post as chief executive officer of the supplier of precision instruments after around 13 years in the role, effective April 1, 2021.
Olivier Filliol’s duties as CEO will be taken over by Patrick K. Kaltenbach, currently President of the Life Sciences Segment of Becton Dickinson.
The fact that Olivier Filliol’s successor is brought in from outside suggests that the board may seek to stimulate change with fresh ideas and new initiatives.
