(exechange) — Salt Lake City, Utah, September 8, 2020 — This news came the day after Labor Day. Darren Jensen, chief executive of LifeVantage, leaves. As announced by LifeVantage Corp. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Darren Jensen has left his post as chief executive officer at the provider of dietary supplements after about five and a half years in the role, effective September 3, 2020.

LifeVantage will undertake a search for a successor.

Darren Jensen’s duties as CEO will be taken over in the interim by Steven R. Fife, most recently Chief Financial Officer of LifeVantage Corp., as interim Chief Executive Officer.

“This is the right time for me”

Darren Jensen’s departure from the CEO post is explained as follows. Jensen said: “I believe that this is the right time for me to take the next step and explore a new path, as I have great faith in LifeVantage’s position and future.”

Precise information regarding Darren Jensen’s future plans was not immediately available.

“Resigned”

LifeVantage said: “Darren Jensen, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, resigned from his position at the Company on September 3, 2020.”

Share price increase since September 2017

The announcement follows an increase in LifeVantage Corp.’s share price of 236% since September 2017.

Mauro has been a member of the Company’s board of directors since 2008.

In the position of CEO since 2015

Darren Jensen became CEO of the Company in 2015.

Jensen will be available to assist with the transition.

Jensen was appointed as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2015.

He was appointed to the Company’s board of directors in January 2016 by the board of directors.

From June 2014 to May 2015, Jensen served as the President-Americas and from September 2012 to June 2014 as the Chief Sales Officer at Jeunesse Global, a privately held direct selling anti-aging and skin care company.

Prior to joining Jeunesse Global, Jensen served from August 2011 to June 2012 as the Chief Sales Officer of a direct selling company in the energy industry called Ampegy, a division of Spark Energy.

Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President and Corporate General Manager at Agel Enterprises, a nutritional supplements direct selling company, where he was also a Co-Founder of the Agel Cares Foundation.

From 2003 to 2005, Jensen was the Director of International Business Development at USANA Inc.

Jensen served as a Brand Manager at Amway Global from 1995 to 1997.

Jensen began his direct selling career at Nu Skin Enterprises in Provo, where he served as an International Marketing Specialist from 1990-1995.

Jensen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University.
