(exechange) — Boise, Idaho, February 13, 2020 — Darrel Anderson, chief executive of Idacorp, leaves. As announced by Idacorp Inc. in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Thursday, February 13, 2020, Darrel T. Anderson leaves his post as chief executive officer at the electricity holding company after about six years in the role, effective June 1, 2020.

Darrel Anderson’s duties as CEO will be taken over by Lisa A. Grow, currently President of Idaho Power.

Darrel Anderson’s move is part of a management shake-up also involving the position of Vice President of Power Supply for Idaho Power.

“Purposeful succession planning”

The management change is explained as follows. Richard J. Dahl, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Idacorp and Idaho Power, said: “Lisa’s appointment to her role is a result of purposeful succession planning combined with her hard work and dedication to the organization.”

Precise information regarding Darrel Anderson’s future plans was not immediately available.

“Retire”

Idacorp said: “Idacorp, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer and Idaho Power Company Chief Executive Officer Darrel T. Anderson announced today his intent to retire on June 1, 2020.”

Idacorp further said: “On February 13, 2020, Darrel T. Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Idacorp, Inc. (“Idacorp”) and Chief Executive Officer of Idaho Power Company (“Idaho Power”), announced his plans to retire as an officer of Idacorp and Idaho Power, effective as of June 1, 2020, after 24 years of service to the companies.”

Share price increase since May 2014

The announcement follows an increase in Idacorp Inc.’s share price of 105% since May 2014.

Dahl served as the chairman of the board of James Campbell Company, LLC, a privately held national real estate investment and development company, from 2010 to 2018 and continues to serve as a director.

In the position of CEO since 2014

Darrel Anderson became CEO of the Company in 2014.

Anderson has been with Idaho Power since 1996 and with Idacorp since its inception in 1998.

Anderson will remain on the board of directors after his retirement, subject to annual election by Idacorp’s shareholders.

Anderson has been the president and CEO of Idaho Power since January 2014 and president and CEO of Idacorp since May 2014.

He was previously the executive vice president – administrative services and CFO of Idacorp from 2009 to 2014, president and CFO of Idaho Power from 2012 to 2013, and executive vice president – administrative services and CFO of Idaho Power from 2009 to 2011.

Anderson has also been employed in a number of other officer and senior management roles with Idacorp, Idaho Power, and its subsidiaries since 1996.
