As announced by Uniper SE in an ad-hoc statement published on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, Klaus Schäfer leaves his post as Chief Executive Officer at the energy company after less than four years in the role, effective August 31, 2019.

Uniper did not name a replacement for the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Klaus Schäfer’s move is part of a management shake-up also involving the position of Chief Financial Officer.
