Enterprise CEO Peter Benoist hands over to Jim Lally

(management-change.com) — St. Louis, Missouri, February 09, 2017 — Peter Benoist, chief executive of Enterprise, hands over the reins. As announced by Enterprise Financial Services Corp in a news release and in a regulatory filing published on Thursday, February 09, 2017, Peter F. Benoist leaves the post as Chief Executive Officer at the bank holding company after nine years on the job, effective May 02, 2017.

Benoist’s duties are taken over by Jim Lally, currently president at Enterprise Financial Services Corp.

Enterprise Financial Services Corp is the parent company of Enterprise Bank & Trust.

Enterprise said: “On February 9, 2017, Peter F. Benoist provided Enterprise Financial Services Corp … with notice of his resignation from the position of Chief Executive Officer … and from the Board of Directors …, effective as of May 2, 2017.”

Share price rise since December 2009

The change follows a rise in the share price of Enterprise Financial Services Corp since December 2009.

On the job as CEO since 2008

Benoist has been a director of the Company since 2002.

Since May 2008, Benoist has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Benoist was the Executive Vice President and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank from October 2002 through May 2008, and served as the Chairman of the Companys Board from November 2005 through May 2008.

Benoist was the Executive Director of the St. Louis Regional Housing and Community Development Alliance from 1999 through 2002.

Prior to joining Enterprise, Benoist was Executive Director of the Regional Housing and Community Development Alliance in St. Louis.

His banking career includes serving as Regional Chairman and St. Louis Market President of Firstar Bank, now US Bank, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the former Mercantile Bank of St. Louis and Director and Executive Vice President of the former Mark Twain Bancshares, Inc. and Chairman of its banking operations.

Benoist holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Saint Louis University.

He serves on the Regional Business Council in St. Louis and on the Boards of Rise, formerly the Regional Housing and Community Development Alliance, Jefferson National Parks Association and Opera Theatre of St. Louis.

To ensure a seamless transition, Benoist will provide consulting services to the company through the end of 2017.
